week 16: love and ecological healing.

In Touching Tribute to Mother Nature, it is a form of digital media. A stronger one though, because instead of just singing, El Gamma uses digital screen motion to express the issue of how climate change is. She expresses through her words and motions that we must take care of our Earth or we will lose everything. We are capable of destroying the Earth, but we are also capable of saving the Earth.  In The Largely Unacknowledged Impact of Climate Change on Mental Health, it discusses how a lot of aspects have been covered in what climate change could do, but no one talked about how it could affect one's mental health. Rising seawater, increasing of strong storms, and other dangerous droughts caused by climate change is not only bad for physical infrastructure, but it makes people lose everyhting, which leads PTSD. Touching Tribute to Mother Nature and Change is Needed connects to each other, because is a digital media in the form of music and very powerful.

I personally loved the texts and videos, but most specifically the videos, more of Touching Tribute to Mother Nature than anything, because it had visual media to make the message more powerful. I believe that digital media through music is actually more power with the visual because that way people listen to the words better. Without the visual people focus on the beats and the musical talents, but nit the background of the words that are spoken. it takes away from the seriousness.
