The "Rising currents stronger movement" is an article with different historic views of young feminists. The women felt as though climate change is what made them go through pain and struggle. The women discuss how they changed that exact pain and struggle into an opportunity to help others.Gender play a huge role in environmental justice/injustice.Women are majorly looked over and are just seem as housewives and it's not right."From banks and tanks to cooperation and caring" it discusses low-income communities and colored peoples leading movements for change.
I honestly found this interesting that things were so bad for women when it came to the environment and feminist period. As a female I feel as though females should not be seen as housewives. We are more than a mother and a cook and it's not fair that we get treated as if men are superior. In all honesty women should be above men because of how much women do in the world.I also think that climate change is an issue that should be discussed more but not many people think or know too much about the issue.
