CSED

CSED stands for Center for Sustainable Entergagement Department. “ CSED focus is on costal rehabilitation, greenjning the built environment, and increasing food security.” From my knowledge they are located in the lower 9th ward in New Orleans Louisiana. Their main mission is to lift up and reinforce community driven goals. This is really important to have a program like this for help. Poorer communities struggle to actually evaluate their plans because of a lack of resources. However this program seems like it help and work with communities to give them the push that need. I didn’t get the opportunity to attend this field trip, however, I really like the mission statement of this program. Something I would work on if I was apart if this program is publicity. This is a very strong and good willed program however many don’t know it exist. A few ways to increase awareness might be social media, having gatherings at schools, or even just fliers around local libraries.
