Quasjale Selders
The film “RISING: An Original Short Film” by th Ad Concil is about a diverse neighborhood coming together in the mist of a rising flood. These people are separated by their different ethnicities and races. This film makes it clear that it want to bring us back to the idea that we are all still human before anything else. We should all come together despite our differences because in the end we all still bleed red and feel the same pain as everyone else. This film wanted to show us that even in the rise of a flood we can all help each other.
I really enjoyed watching this film it took me back really. It gave hope for humanity for me and showed me that no matter how we see each other on the outside we still can help each other out. What i liked about this film is that it showed so much emotion and you can really feel the pain of the actors and you can really connect with them especially if you’d gone through something similar. Some gaps I found was that they didn’t really talk much about the actual climate change aspect of it all it really just showed the rising flood and not how it happened. I would really recommend this article to any and everyone.
