Grow That Youth Farm located in the City Park has been designed to beautifully counteract the effects of the big industrial city. This farm has mainly impacted the youth by helping us learn about sustainable living. Through the tour of the area, I learned about the effect of different type of farming on the environment. Farming has definitely helped our society but different types of farming like monocropping are actually damaging our soil. Education like the education offered at Grow Dat Youth Farm has increased awareness about social issues related to farming.
