Title: From ruined bridges to dirty air, EPA scientists price out the cost of climate change
Author: Los Angeles Times News Service

Date Published: April 8, 2019

In this article, the extent of climate change is covered. The article discusses how we should measure
climate change and that the amount of damage that it has done to our environment and cities.
It shows that the amount of damage done by climate change will be in the millions, However, if we reduce the amounts of greenhouse gases in the atmosphere then we will be able to reduce the amount
of money needed to renew the environment. What I found interesting from this article was that we
produce so much pollution but just by doing little things for a short amount of time we could save so
much money, yet no one has taken control and done anything yet. In this article, I agree with the fact
that we need to reduce pollution and emission, but I think that we should find a way to do that without reducing our economy. After this article, I still would like to know how we could help our environment and still benefit our economy. I believe this relates to what we have been talking about in our class because there is always a price to pay for doing something wrong and we did something wrong when we decided to use fossil fuels. The effect of this is that we are literally going to pay the price.
